DFW Saturation
Our immediate priority is saturating the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. With 8.3 million residents and enormous unmet demand for authentic bagels, DFW alone represents dozens of viable locations. Target areas include Southlake, Flower Mound, McKinney, Frisco, Plano, Allen, Prosper, Celina, Denton, and the broader northern suburbs corridor.
Texas Metros
After establishing a dominant DFW footprint, we expand to other major Texas markets. Austin, San Antonio, and Houston each offer growing populations, strong food cultures, and significant Northeast transplant communities hungry for authentic bagels.
National Expansion
With proven systems refined across multiple Texas markets, we bring Dan's Bagels to high-growth metros nationwide. Our compact footprint, morning-hours model, and simple menu translate well to virtually any suburban market with the right demographics.
Protected Territories
Every Dan's Bagels franchise receives a defined, protected territory. This means no other Dan's Bagels location — corporate or franchise — will operate within your designated area. Your territory is yours to develop, and we take that commitment seriously.
Site Selection Criteria
Population Density
We target areas with strong residential density and growing suburban populations. Minimum population thresholds within defined drive-time radii ensure a sustainable customer base.
Demographics
Ideal areas feature above-average household incomes, high percentages of families and young professionals, and significant transplant populations from bagel-centric markets like the Northeast.
Traffic Patterns
Locations with strong morning drive-by traffic, visibility from major roads, and easy access with dedicated parking perform best. We analyze vehicle counts, intersection data, and commuter patterns.
Co-Tenancy
Proximity to complementary businesses — coffee shops, gyms, schools, and grocery stores — drives incremental foot traffic. We evaluate the tenant mix of every potential center.
